Pieces of Starr
Starr Miller is the Atlanta-based artist behind Pieces of Starr. Starr discovered her passion for metals and stone setting in a 2013 basic metals 101 class. Over the next decade, she immersed herself in her craft, refining her skills under the guidance of master stone setters and engravers such as Alexandr Sidorov and Todd Daniels.
Her work is defined by precision, craftsmanship, and a love for detail. She is known for creating weighty silhouettes adorned with delicate celestial engravings and colored gemstones. Starr’s playful approach to stone setting combines traditional techniques with her signature look cultivated over years of creative experimentation. As the sole artist behind Pieces of Starr, she is guided by a philosophy of quality over quantity and community over competition—ensuring her connection to both her craft and the greater jewelry community.
